This TOS is subject to change at any time.
Please read it fully and thoroughly before commissioning me.
Thank you for your interest.

(Last Edit: 8/6/2020)

Basic Rules:

  • Prices are subject to change according to complexity of the commission

  • I hold the right to decline any commission for any reason at any time. Remain professional and follow my rules/TOS.

  • Any currency sent to my account over paypal or any other form of currency trade will be considered a tip and is not refundable if you chose to send it before establishing a solid, clear agreement on if that payment was for a commission or not.

  • NEVER alter my work or remove my signature. Especially not for profit. At no time is it ever okay, now or in the future, for you to ever erase any signatures or watermarks of my work. You MAY re-size and crop my work to make yourself an icon. Claiming my work as your own is absolutely prohibited. You have permission to upload any finished works of mine that YOU commissioned to your gallery, but I must see my name mentioned in the image description and a link to either my main gallery pages or twitter account(s).

    • Any free lineart I upload is okay to use, but you must abide by the permissions I grant according to the submission's information. I.E: using the lineart as means to make and sell adoptables.

  • As the artist, I hold my rights to any completed piece. As of 1/1/2017, please understand that your commission may be used in a portfolio or purchasable art book or other type of product on my website. If you are absolutely against this, you must specify that you are, and why, in the commission form. The commissioner may never have absolute full rights to the image, but you will have the following rights.... When you order a commission from me, unless specified otherwise, your rights include re-posting WITH CREDIT TO ME AS ORIGINAL ARTIST to your personal gallery collection with a linkback to me. If you post my work anywhere else, you must ask me first. You may NOT use my work for commercial purposes. Period. I will not tolerate others gaining profit off of my work. You may not alter your picture in any way aside from if you wanted to add some sort of small captions on the side as long as my signature goes unharmed.

  • As of August 1st 2017, I have opened up my Patreon again. Because of the way I am handling my patreon, I must ask that my commissioners do not repost their commission anywhere until three days have passed since the completion. Purposeful failure to comply may result in refusal to work with the customer again.

Commission Orders:

  • Any and all customers are expected to read and understand these terms before commissioning me. If you have any questions, contact me and I will be more than happy to clarify or add onto anything you may have a concern or misunderstanding about.

  • As of August 1st 2017, commissioners are requested to not repost their artwork ordered from me until 3 days have passed. Failure to comply may result in my refusal to work with you. You may still share the work with friends, use it as a reference, etc. But please wait the three day period until posting your work publicly (while of course still crediting me). This is my way of rewarding my Patreon Supporters, allowing them early access to all content.

  • Absolutely NO sexual, suggestive, or flirty artwork with my characters or KnightSquiggles's characters, ever.

  • If a commission is going to be very private, and you do not want me to ever post it publicly, you must make that very clear to me before I even begin to work on it.

  • Please do not ask me for commission ideas. Please make them up yourself, or simply allow me to have artistic freedom.

  • I do not do private streams.

  • I will NOT attempt to copy another artist's style. I do things in my styles. Take a look at my gallery to see what kind of art you may be getting. If you do not like my styles, do not commission me.

  • Unless you are inquiring about a design or reference commission, you must have a visual reference of all character(s).

  • Do not link me to references of images involving illegal content/gore/CP/etc.

  • Please give references for poses wanted when applicable and available.

  • I will not work past the sketch stage, unless agreed upon before I move onto the inks. I may make very minor changes during the inking process. Once inked, it is complete, and ready for color. Minor changes such as fixes to a coloration or perhaps adding hair or accessories are okay under certain conditions. Once I am past the sketch stages, you may no longer request major changes. If I have to completely redo the sketch more than once, I will most likely want to cancel the commission and not continue.

    • If you are checking your wips via a small screen for visuals, please wait to confirm if I may move onto the next step of inking, coloring, or shading until you have a chance to view the image thoroughly and in a better resolution. You are not on a restricted timeline to check the work being made for you. Please take your time to look over it and make sure it is correct before telling me that it is.

  • I will only allow up to three complete/major resketches. If it has taken me that many times or more to get what you wanted, then either I cannot understand you, or you did not know what you wanted, and I'm going to have to cancel, or, ask for additional payment to continue. Keep this in mind!

  • Have ALL references, information, etc to me BEFORE I start your commission!

Payment:

  • Payment may be required up front, but I typically will not ask you for payment until I am ready to work on your commission. Please refrain from putting any specific details in paypal notes, as paypal has been known to ban users for taking commissions of a questionable rating. Simply state your username, and the word "Commission" in the description box.

  • If your slot is expected to be a good wait, I don't like to price things for you ahead of time and typically will not. My commission prices website is there for a reason...to give you an estimate price. Please use it. I will give a price quote once I am aware of all details of a commission, and have the time to sit down and estimate/add.

  • Refunds are issued if a major event happens to myself or the commissioner so that the work cannot be done. I will refund the money for the work that is unfinished. If a sketch is complete, and you originally paid for a full shaded piece, you will not receive the sketch payment back...Only the rest of the money that covered the unfinished work, etc.

Adoptables/Lineart Policy:

  • If you buy a design or adoptable from me, you have rights to that character as your own. However, I do not give permission for customers to use that design or adoptable in commercial purposes, or as a way to make profit. The character is yours, however, and you may edit it how you see fit unless they have certain restrictions ( such as a 'Closed Species' ). You are free to 'breed' that character, make it your fursona, give it a story, etc etc. Closed species have their own rules, and you must abide by them.

  • I don't care if you draw or write about your newly adopted design in pornographic situations. It is your character that you bought, you're fine to sexualize it.

  • If you find yourself not wanting your adopt anymore, you can resell it, but you cannot sell the character for more than you bought it for. If you have additional art made of that character, that's fine, you can up the price based upon the art commissions you may have gotten of it, but the base character price cannot exceed what you initially paid for it.

  • Custom Lineart commissions must be agreed upon with a contract-type agreement, which I will provide as the commission is being ordered. Basic Rules for custom lineart to be used by the client for their own adoptables include but are not limited to:

    • Absolutely no removal or editing of my signature and watermarks.

    • The client does NOT have permission to sell designs made with the lineart for commercial purposes in which another party will be making royalties or profit off of the design and lineart.

    • The client must ask the original artist first if the designs made with the lineart are to be used to order physical goods and products. If the original artist does not reply, or is not available, this does not give the client the right to use it anyway.

    • The lineart is to never be distributed among friends or other clients for free or for profit.
